Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports linking the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international with a move away from Parc des Princess
The 22-year-old is reportedly unhappy over lack of playing time with PSG and is seeking a move away from Paris. However, Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he expects Sakho to stay with the club.
Paris Saint-Germain are in the market for a central defender and have seen their bid for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 rebuffed by Italian side AC Milan.
Mamadou Sakho, who barely featured for the capital club last season following the arrival of the Brazilian Alex from Chelsea, is not much optimistic about his chances at the capital club.
The Frenchman has expressed his desire to leave PSG in case of another addition of a centre back at the club as he feels that it would reduce his chances of getting more game-time in Ligue 1 next season.
However, Sakho's wish will not be fulfilled as it has been revealed that Les Parisiens plan to hold onto the player.
While talking to reporters, Carlo Ancelotti has stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293 will not be allowed to leave the club as he features in his plans for the next season.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international has stated that his side is in a rebuilding phase and chances are there for the players to grab. Ancelotti believes that the addition of new players will only increase competition among players.
"He (Sakho) has to understand that PSG will become a big club, and that at every big club, there is a lot of competition to win a place. I hope that Mamadou accepts the competition like he told me when we had a discussion together,” Ancelotti told reporters.
"I make my decisions solely in relation to what I see on the pitch, rather than a player`s price tag. If he asks to leave, it will be up to the club and myself to make the decision, but today I say that Sakho will stay."
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager knows that it would be hard to keep a player at the club who wishes to leave but is optimistic that Sakho will change his mind and will stay with PSG for foreseeable future.
