“It wasn't a bad match. We played well in the second half with ten men. I didn't see Motta's sending-off so I can't say anything. It was harder with ten men but we played well.”
Talking about the injury to Thiago Silva, Ancelotti said that the Brazilian has injured his thigh and the medical team will examine him thoroughly.
“Thiago Silva has injured his thigh. We have had a lot of sending-offs this season, it's true. It is bizarre, but that is football.”
The 53-year-old tactician added that his side lacked precision on the pitch and Ajaccio’s goalkeeper made some spectacular saves to deny PSG a chance to go ahead. However, the boss is expecting a better performance from the Ile giants next time around.
“We just lacked precision, and their goalkeeper made some good saves, so it was 0-0.”
