The Ile giants are in hot water following some less than impressive performances in the Ligue 1 in recent weeks and the coach, Carlo Ancelotti is of the view that PSG deserve such criticism in the wake of their recent performances.
The boss, while talking to reporters at a press conference, said that Paris Saint-Germain haven’t been at their best lately and they deserve such criticism. back to winning ways soon.
"Critics are sometimes deserved," he said.
The 53-year-old added that Les Parisiens didn’t start the season well and they received a huge amount of criticism over that. However, PSG changed things quickly back then and now, the only thing that is missing is consistency, which is hurting club’s ambitions
to great extent.
Ancelotti said that it’s not a new thing and clubs often go through such situations. However, the championship is far from over and the coach is confident that Paris Saint-Germain will be more competitive in the future.
"Everyone at the club is sorry because of our poor start to the season. When you build a new club, you may have some problems, but the championship is not over. And we will be very competitive."
On a question regarding their Champions League campaign, the former Milan manager said that PSG have performed really well in Europe this season and they have scored the most goals in the tournament, and their defence has been really impressive as well.
"We are the team that scored the most goals in the tournament, and also it is we who took the least.
