The coach of the cash-laden club from Paris has stressed that other than Lucas Moura, there will be no further arrivals at Parc des Princes in the upcoming transfer window
Paris Saint-Germain are arguably the richest football club in the world at the moment and it isn’t surprising a bit that the capital club has been constantly linked with a number of high-profile players. Each day brings new rumours with it regarding players’
transfer to PSG, but according to club coach, Carlo Ancelotti, Les Parisiens would not sign any player in the upcoming mercato.
The Italian tactician was talking to reporters at a press conference and when asked about his plans regarding January’s transfer window, the 53-year-old said that he is happy with the group of players he has at the club and there is no need to sign further
players. The boss added that Lucas Moura will arrive at Parc des Princes in January but he will be the only one.
"There are so many expectations around Paris Saint-Germain and consequently rumours too, but rumours do not always point to the truth,” said the former Milan manager.
There were reports in the press suggesting that following some poor results in the Ligue 1, Ancelotti could be sacked. However, the boss is least bothered by that and has stressed that he never feared that and he has a good relation with Leonardo and the
club owners.
"I have a strong rapport with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 [sporting director] and never feared I would be sacked.”
PSG lack group spirit to some extent at the moment but Ancelotti feels that it’s completely normal considering the fact that there are more than a dozen new players at Parc des Princes and they need more time to settle in.
“We've lacked group spirit so far, but that's normal considering there are 15 new players," he added.
The 53-year-old stressed that Paris Saint-Germain will not sign any more players and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908, who was signed by the Ile giants in the summer, will be the only arrival in the upcoming mercato.
"There will be no further arrivals in January other than Lucas Moura."
