The Paris Saint-Germain coach has admitted that the team still needs a lot of time to shine in the Champions League and was satisfied with the nervy win against Stade de Reims on Saturday
Always happy to have a word with the media, Carlo Ancelotti took some time out of his busy schedule to discuss how the club’s progress is going on these days.
The Italian tactician’s side beat newly-promoted Stade de Reims 1-0 at home in a game which could have gone either way had the visitors been more clinical in front of goal from the limited chances they were given.

“We did not have time to prepare for this match, with players out with their national teams. And then we had a lot of injuries, Sissoko was sick. The goal was to improve the game and identity. The first half was not good against Reims, but the second was
good.”

“We’re not a team strong enough to be very competitive in the Champions League. We lost against Porto but it serves as a good experience, because most of our players have not known the Champions League. I hope we do good things in the Champions League,”
