The Paris Saint-Germain coach is looking forward to Tuesday’s Coupe de la Ligue clash against Les Verts and has warned his players of taking the opponents lightly
The Ligue 1 leaders will take on AS Saint-Etienne but this time in the quarter-finals of Coupe de la Ligue. Les Verts handed the Parisiens their first league defeat of the season and coach, Carlo Ancelotti is expecting another stern test from Christophe
Galtier side.
The 53-year-old tactician was talking to reporters at a press conference and when asked whether he is still thinking about the loss to Saint-Etienne in the Ligue 1, the coach said that ASSE deserved to win that match and PSG have learned from their defeat.

The coach is expecting another tough test from Christophe Galtier’s side but is confident that his side will perform better against the hosts this time around. PSG need to play well to get through and the boss is taking nothing for granted.
“It promises to be a very difficult match, but we want to qualify. We will need to be play well to get through and balance will be very important because we will need to block our opposition attackers.
Ancelotti heaped praise on his counterpart saying that the Saint-Etienne coach has done a tremendous job at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, and Christophe Galtier is destined for greatness.

The former Milan manager added that Paris Saint-Germain’s players will be tired as compared to Saint-Etienne’s but added that it won’t be an excuse. Paris Saint-Germain will go for a win and it would be an interesting game to watch.
"Saint-Etienne played on Friday and will certainly have more energy than us. We have to play intelligently, we will have to play to our strengths and counterattacking is certainly one of them.”
