Carlo Ancelotti forced to deal with new Lampard injury
Carlo Ancelotti’s job of salvaging Chelsea’s season just got more difficult. Reports have emerged that Frank Lampard has suffered a new injury, forcing him to cut short a training session with the Blues.
The midfielder had just recently returned to the squad after recovering from a hernia operation. Now it seems that Lampard will have to be sidelined once again, putting a big dent in Chelsea’s title ambitions this season.

act together, and much of their recent return to form can be attributed to the return of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097.

Ancelotti will be hoping that Lampard’s calf problem is not too serious. Chelsea already faced an uphill battle in their bid to retain the Barclays Premier League title this season, and the absence of Frank Lampard will make their task that much harder.
We will find out the extent of Lampard’s injury when the Chelsea medical staff assess his condition on Thursday.
