Carlo Ancelotti looking to rope in Ronaldinho
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly considering signing AC Milan's midfield magician Ronaldinho in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian has officially been declared surplus at the club and as a result, he has become one of the hottest prospects in the transfer window.
Ancelotti has shown a lot of interest in the player since he was the manager when Ronaldinho started playing for AC Milan. Milan are reportedly willing to offload the player for four million pounds, which is not too much for a team like Chelsea.
Chelsea's season has gone from an all-time high to possibly an all-time low. They have slipped once place further in the English Premier League at number five. From the 20 EPL games, it has only been able to gather 35 points. Most of this was because they
team lacked depth and with their key players picking up injuries, the club could not win matches it should have won.
Although Chelsea midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097 is back after a three-and-a-half month injury, but the Blues definitely need some additional creativity in the middle of the pitch. At present, they only have Lampard as an attacking midfielder and the induction
of Ronaldinho would definitely boost http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786’s title hopes.
Ronaldinho would be able to give Chelsea two or three seasons at the most, however, if he is able to do what is asked of him, then spending four million on him would be a good bargain for Chelsea.
Experts are having mixed reactions about the move, as it could go either way.
The player could come and be back to his best, or he could just prove to be one another bad signing by the Blues. However, what can be said with certainty is that if any Premier League team is able to sign the Brazilian magician, then the time to do that
is now.
The 30-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858, he has played 88 matches and scored 32 goals.
