The PSG coach has heaped praise on the players after Les Parisiens registered an impressive win over Stade Brestois 29 to ensure their status as league leaders going into the winter break, while the Brest coach is taking positives from the game despite
the defeat
The Ile giants continued their fine run of form with another impressive win on the road. The 3-0 win over Brest was Les Parisiens’ 11th in the Ligue 1 and the result has ensured their status as autumn leaders.
Coach, Carlo Ancelotti is pleased with the win at Stade Francis-Le Ble and has praised his players for playing with such confidence and determination. The Italian tactician was talking to reporters after the match and when asked about his views regarding
PSG’s performance, the boss had only positive things to say.
The 53-year-old tactician stated that PSG have struggled to play with consistency in the league this season but their performances in the last few weeks have been really impressive. Referring to their 3-0 win over Brest, the boss said that players have shown
strong nerves to react to poor situations this season and this is a great sign for the future of the club.
“We've had some problems, some very difficult moments. The important thing was the reaction. It was good, the players deserve praise. They played like a team that wants to do good things that wanted to finish the year well.”
The Italian tactician feels that Paris Saint-Germain’s performed really well over the last month and it will help the team to great extent in the future.
“What we've shown over the last month is important for next year. If we continue with the same level of performance, it'll be a very good 2013."
On the other hand, Brest coach, Landry Chauvin, is remaining upbeat despite the defeat and has urged his players to continue playing with same attitude in the future in order to achieve club’s objectives this season.
“I regret nothing about the way we played. We can be proud of what the players have done this evening. The team's progressing, as they have done throughout the last few weeks."
