The Italian tactician is delighted with the way Les Parisiens returned to winning ways with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League
The cash-laden club from Paris suffered their first defeat in Ligue 1 last week against AS Saint-Etienne, and they needed to win their European game on Tuesday to get back on track. And the Ile giants responded in an emphatic fashion, defeating the Croatian
outfit at Parc des Princes.
The win has enhanced PSG’s chances of reaching the next stage of the European club competition and it’s not a good sign for other teams in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has expressed his delight at the Parisiens’ victory and is pleased with his side’s response in the wake of defeat at the hands of Saint-Etienne in the league. The 53-year-old was talking to reporters after the
match and when asked about PSG’s performance on the pitch, the coach had nothing but praise for his players.
The coach said that it was a professional performance from his side and the 4-0 win has put Paris Saint-Germain in good position to qualify for the next round of the Champions League.
“It was a beautiful win and a very important one in the group standings.”

his side did well to score four goals and is pleased with the Parisiens’ second half performance in particular.
“We played well, especially in the second half. In the first half, it was more difficult, because Zagreb were throwing a lot of energy into the battle.”
Carlo Ancelotti added that Paris Saint-Germain’s next European game against Dynamo Kiev is very important and feels that his side is in good shape to seal their place in the next round of the competition.
“The next game against Kiev will be decisive for the qualification; it won't be easy but we will prepare well for the match."
