The coach was satisfied following a strong display by Paris Saint-Germain against Stade Brestois 29, as the Ligue 1 outfit outplayed their hosts earning themselves a well deserved victory
Paris Saint-Germain bagged three easy points, as they ended up being victorious against fellow Ligue 1 side, Stade Brestois 29. The fixture was deemed as an important fixture for the Paris-based club. The game turned out to be easier than expected, as Les
Parisiens only had to face ten men following the sending off of Abdoulwhaid Sissoko, while scoring a handsome amount of goals.
The coach, Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with the set of events that took place and hailed his side for an important win.
Les Parisiens proved to be ruthless as always as they shrugged off the Brest-based club in a 3-0 victory at Stade Francis-La Ble. The goals were a result of strikes from PSG forwards, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721, while former PSG defender, Bernard
Mendy ended up scoring an own-goal.
The 53-year-old tactician rejoiced the victory as he led his side to their fourth successive victory in the league. The coach applauded his players for their good performance, finding it to be a difficult game. He said:
"The holidays will be good as we're top of the table. It was a good display, though not an easy game.
Ancelotti feels that the Paris-based club wasn’t as attacking in the first-half, as they were in the second. All three goals were scored in the second-half, which gives valid reason to the Italian’s point of view. The coach explained:
“We didn't force things too much in the first half, it was better in the second. It's a good confirmation of our excellent form.”
The Italian has insisted on several previous occasions that he’s pleased with the quality of football by his team, and does not feel fascinated by the amount of goals scored during the game. The Ligue outfit had previously thrashed Evian TG and Valenciennes
FC by a score line of 4-0 each. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager explained:
“The score-line wasn't important. It was important to win, and we won well with a good display and attitude. We were solid and showed good quality on the pitch.”
