The PSG boss is surprised at how quickly Les Parisiens have developed into a solid team after some below par performances in recent weeks, while Lyon boss, Remi Garde is taking positives from Sunday’s defeat at the Parc
Paris Saint-Germain proved too strong for the title hopefuls from the Rhone as they cruised to an encouraging 1-0 win at home. A late strike in the second half from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Blaise-Matuidi-c7681, was enough to send the oil-money-fuelled club from
Paris to the summit, thanks to their better goal difference.
And coach, Carlo Ancelotti has hailed his side after they put their recent worries behind them to reach at the top of the table. Talking to reporters, the 53-year-old stated that football is a funny game and the way PSG have turned things around so quickly
is amazing.
The boss said that Paris Saint-Germain have worked really hard to be here and they deserve credit for that.
“Football is sometimes weird: who'd have thought PSG could change attitude in 15 days? The players have worked well and deserve to be top of the table.”
The PSG boss added that it is important for the Parisiens to stay at the top going in to the winter break as that will send a strong message to the rest of the teams in the Ligue 1.
“It's important to be there, but the most important thing is to finish out in front."
Meanwhile, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 coach, Remi Garde is taking positives from the game despite ending on the losing side. The Frenchman said that Lyon weren’t in perfect shape to face a team like Paris Saint-Germain and his players did well to make things hard
for the hosts on the pitch.
“The longer the game went on, the worse we were feeling physically, and I didn't necessarily have the right solutions on the bench to inject some freshness.”
The Lyon boss added that Les Gones have been performing really well this season and OL are on the right track to achieve their objectives.
“I still want to believe that my team are on the right track. I'm not worried by this defeat, it gives me signs of encouragement."
