The Paris Saint-Germain coach has been impressed by the Saint-Etienne goalkeeper, after the Frenchman's heroic helped Les Verts to a win over the cash-laden club from Paris in the quarter finals of Coupe de la Ligue
The oil-money-fuelled club from Paris was eliminated from Coupe de la Ligue following a 5-3 defeat on penalties at the hands of Les Verts on Tuesday. Paris Saint-Germain created a number of goalscoring opportunities but were denied by the opposing
goalkeeper, Stephane Ruffier.
While talking to reporters, the 53-year-old stated that it was a good performance from both sides and ASSE showed why they are one of the best sides in the country with an eye-catching display last night. Talking in particular about their goalkeeper,
Stephane Ruffier, the coach said that the Frenchman was superb between the sticks and he is an asset to his team.

Praising the opposing team, Ancelotti said that he was expecting such performance from the hosts and they made life difficult for PSG on the pitch. All Saint-Etienne players were superb the other night but Ruffier was the pick of the lot as he made
some unbelievable saves.
“Ruffier is a good goalkeeper, he played a good match, but then again all the Saint-Etienne players had a good match.”
The coach said that it was good match for all the players from both sides and Saint-Etienne deserve credit for playing with such determination. Christophe Galtier’s side has advanced to the semi-finals and Ancelotti has wished Les Verts all the best
in the competition.
“It was a beautiful and balanced match, and they won out on penalties. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Good-Luck-c39444 to them."
Talking about PSG’s exit from Coupe de la Ligue, the boss said that they would have loved to stay in the competition but there is nothing that can change that fact that it’s over for Les Parisiens. Ancelotti has urged his players to forget about the
loss, and has assured that all the players will get enough game time in the upcoming matches.
“It (the defeat) is no cause for concern. There are still a lot of matches to play, and all the players will get some game time.”
Paris Saint-Germain will take on OPGC Nice on Saturday in their next game of the Ligue 1 campaign.
