Carlo Ancelotti has been known for criticizing Paris Saint-Germain in the past, but since their revival the Les Parisiens coach’s satisfaction seems to increase with every game they play. The Italian was glad with his team’s performance against Toulouse
FC in the Ligue 1 fixture, as his side thrashed the hosts 4-0 at the Stadium Municipal.
The Italian tactician was happy with the team’s performance, calling it to be the best match for PSG in 2013 so far. The coach was happy as the French outfit displayed a fascinating performance, one that has earned them praise from the fans and critics alike.
Ancelotti stated while expressing his delight after the game:
“That was without a doubt our best match in 2013. We rediscovered the kind of form in attack that we had before the winter break. It was a very good performance. We showed a lot of pace and fast passing to get the ball quickly in forward positions.”
The 53-year-old held out respect for his opponents despite Les Parisiens dominating them throughout the game. Ancelotti feels satisfied after the emphatic victory at the Stadium Municipal, as his side maintained their spot at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

“I don't think Toulouse are a weak side, but the goal we scored in the early minutes really hurt them. After the send-off it was impossible for them. We did very well on the counter. I'm very happy with Lucas' performance.”
