Carlo Ancelotti says Premier League title defence still out of question
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that it is almost impossible for his team to defend their Barclays Premier League title despite winning against League leaders Manchester United on Tuesday.
Ancelotti said, “We are too far from Manchester United. It's difficult for them to lose points in the next few games. We have to concentrate on ourselves and look not too far in the future. I cannot believe we are this far behind, but we have to be honest.
This is where we are in the table, and United have played with more consistency than us.”
Carlo Ancelotti’s men played Manchester United Tuesday at Stamford Bridge, a match which was tipped as the crucial match for the future of both clubs.

Carlo Ancelotti witnessed his team making a remarkable comeback against Sir Alex Ferguson’s team but the former AC Milan boss is adamant that the Premier League title is still long way out of Chelsea’s reach. He insisted that his team is now aiming for a
place in next year’s UEFA Champions League.
Tuesday’s win has lifted Chelsea back into the top four and the Blues are now one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
