The Paris Saint-Germain coach says that the team needs to competitive and has indicated that no player in the squad will ever have the status of a confirmed starter
With so many acquisitions this summer, it is safe to say that Paris Saint-Germain will be in the thick of things when it comes to winning titles. The club will be competing for the Championelle, Coupe de la Ligue, Coupe de http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and the UEFA Champions League
– a competition in which they are returning after an eight-year hiatus.
And, the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 and Nene will make sure that the club goes on a decent run in Europe’s most prestigious club competition. However, with so many players at his disposal, Ancelotti will understandably
be spoilt for choice which means that there will always be players who will be unhappy with the amount of playing time they are given.
One of those players is Brazilian winger, Nene. The former AS Monaco man was the Ile club’s topscorer last season and despite showcasing his talents for the club, the player’s future is still uncertain. Furthermore, the arrival of the new stars clearly means
that Nene will struggle for game-time this term.
While talking to France Football, Ancelotti said that no player, including Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva will be guaranteed game-time this season.
“I repeat this everyday for the whole group, not just Nene. If PSG want to be competitive both in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, it must have a large workforce. Today, I cannot tell someone that they will play all games. Technically, he (Nene) has a place
in this team. But he needs to realise that like all his teammates, there will be nights when I ask him to sit on the bench.”
While talking about defender Mamadou Sakho, Ancelotti said that the player has the right attitude and has improved a lot. However, the Italian tactician feels that the Frenchman can still improve a lot.
“He’s good but he can still do better because he is young. He had some problems last season, but that seems to be forgotten. Today, (against Lorient), I discovered another http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293.”
