Question:

Carlo Ancelotti wanting Rafa Marquez again?

I was reading today on Medio Tiempo on Ancelotti talking about he would want Marquez and thinking about his defensive line in Milan, but he don't think Barca will let him leave. I think it's great for a Mexican player to be looked at like that from that kind of team. Earlier this summer, Juventus had stated they would like a player like Marquez in their team but the deal didn't go through with Trezeguet exchange with Marquez since he was wanted at Juve.

Ancelotti states "It's difficult to find a defender now with certain characteristics. Milan need a good player and not a reserve. Marquez is a player with great esperience. He's a very good defender and a player with these characteristics, but I think that that Barcelona will not sell him." I think it would be a good move for Marquez, but he's got his level of play and is starting with Barca in pre-season, and for the first time I see it, he was wearing the Captain's arm band against Boca today. It's good, but what do you think? If it was up to U, would you let him go or would U still keep him in Barcelona?

  1. Yeah but i think it applys to the UEFA Cup too! If you play in a European tournament you cant play in another one with a different team. I have been wanting Marquez in Ac Milan for a long time but seeing how Guardiola (who has close ties with Mexicans too.. DORADOS!!! haha) i wouldnt mind him staying now! Milito is injured too but if you ask me Milito is one of the worst CB i have seen too overrated! I would pick Marquez over Milito anytime lets just hope Pep gives him the confidence

  2. i think He should go to Milan

  3. I dont think Barca would let him go. He's a very important part of his team, and is a strong leader. Milan would not regret signing him, but i dont know if HE wants to leave, seeing the reputation he's established already.

  4. milan would not be a bad move.

but, rafa is at home with barça. nobody can deny that. the coach and the fans love him. he's a leader. he's captain under Xavi and Puyol. when you find something good, you don't let it go. that's speaking for both rafa and barcelona. rafa should stay, but hopefully this will open the door for more italian teams to look at our mexican talent. jonny magallon at milan isn' a bad idea, neither is Memo.

  5. I think he is okay at Baraca, and I dont think they'd leave him, he is really good player.

  6. rafa should stay at barcelona

he wont be starter in milan

nesta and kaladze are the starters of the team

  7. its too late now Marquez has already played in the Champions League, so he is definitely staying with Barca for another year which is where I want him

  8. i doubt that Barca will let him go, he is key to their defence, as much as Puyol is.

  9. He Won't be allowed to play until the Group stage in the CL IS OVER

now he ate leaving not yet next season he will more then likely leave first of all AC are in a lock for cash right now they are in debt maybe the transfer fee isn't that expensive but his salary is Milan has no chance of getting Rafa
