The Italian tactician has excluded the Brazilian from his squad set to feature in the upcoming Ligue 1 fixture against Evian, following the player’s outburst during the Champions League game.
Paris Saint-Germain triumphed in their victory against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186, which not only ensured their qualification but also granted them the top spot. But it wasn’t all good news, as Nene ended up arguing and slapped the roof as he protested against not being allowed
to feature in the game.
The former AS Monaco player was featured as a substitute in the Champions League fixture, being introduced in the 88th minute. Despite the inclusion, the midfielder was frustrated due to lack of playtime and slapped the roof of the dugout. The Brazilian
is also reported to argue with his coaches upon being called back to sit down after warming up.
The manager has meanwhile decided to punish him for the tantrum he caused, and has not included the winger in the squad that’s set to feature in their next Ligue 1 encounter against Evian TG. The Italian was disappointed with the player and believes that
he lacked professionalism during the game against Porto. He told:
“Nene did not behave well. He has to be more professional.”
However, the coach is providing a chance to the Brazilian for making amends. The 53-year-old insisted that the winger needs to improve his attitude if he wants himself to be given the opportunity to play. The former AC Milan manager threatened Nene, that
if he’s not willing to bring a change in his attitude, then he might have to face further exclusion from the team.
While addressing a press conference, the manager said:
“If a player does not have a good attitude, I do not want him, he cannot help the team. I don't know if he understands [why he has been dropped] or not. There was no discussion between him and me.”
Ancelotti is willing to reward Nene’s patience, provided the forward maintains a positive attitude. The former Chelsea manager stated:
“I do not dislike Nene. He will be in the squad for the game at Valenciennes, if he changes."
