The Italian tactician has urged his players to step-up and act responsibly following their defeat to OGC Nice. He also warned of possible future changes that would be witnessed in the forthcoming games.
Paris Saint-Germain are in a slump of late, and show no signs of regaining the form expected of them. The Paris-based club suffered their 3rd defeat in the Ligue 1, this time against OGC Nice at the Stade http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Du-c11689 Ray. The club manager, Carlo Ancelotti,
has been bitterly disappointed and wants his players to improve.
Following the defeat to the Cote d’Azur side, the manager said that his players must share the responsibility for PSG’s poor performances lately, and wants them to improve as a team. The Paris-based club suffered a 2-1 defeat, with only http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029
being able to score a short-lived equalizer for his team.
Ancelotti has shown no strain in voicing his bitter disappointment. The Italian believes that the players are not showing the same passion and professionalism that they should be doing. He said:
“I feel that the players are not yet focused on what must be the project of the club. It is not normal to lose as often for a team like ours.”
The main problem, according to the Italian, is the inability of the team to continue their string of good performances, and the absence of a responsible attitude. The former footballer is also afraid to admit that there is lack of team-work in the club,
with every player trying to perform individually.
Describing the root cause while talking to the press, Ancelotti said:
“We lacked continuity, intensity and responsibility. It is not the coach who must take responsibility, but the players also.”
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager went on to explain:
“We played too much individually and not enough as a team.”
The 53-year-old has threatened his players that he would be excluding those from the squad who do not share the same determination and passion in their performance, for the games to come. The tactician intends to replace them with those who are passionate
and willing to make an effort for positive results.
He warned:
“I'll make radical changes for the next matches.”
Paris Saint-Germain are currently third on the league table, and are 5 points behind league leaders, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130. Les Parisiens would be hosting Evian TG for their next league fixture at the Parc des Princes, next weekend.
