The President of Cordoba, Carlos Gonzalez, has said that Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, is giving the club a bad image.
Gonzalez is a full member of the Real Madrid football club and he believes the Portuguese coach doesn’t care about the academy of the club.
The Cordoba president has made his point clear and said that Real needs another manager as everything is not going well at the moment for the club.
“I think the club needs another type of Coach. Because everything is not ok.”
The man at the helm of Cordoba commented on the reverse policy Mourinho has taken to the youth system. He stated that Mourinho is taking the steps their arch-rivals, Barcelona, had stopped taking a long time ago.
“A few years ago, Real Madrid had players from the academy and Barcelona signed big names, and you could see the results for yourself.”
Gonzalez believes the whole system that has been implemented in the club since the arrival of Mourinho is not working in favour of the club.
“Now the whole thing has been turned on its head.”
Gonzalez has also remarked on the fact that Barca have been more successful lately because of the high importance and emphases they give to their youth system. He feels this is where Madrid are making the mistake since they are buying big stars to challenge
La Blaugrana for titles.
“Now it's Madrid that buy the big names and Barcelona look to their academy for solutions and that's why they've had so much success.”
Moreover, the owner of Segunda Division side also revealed that everything about the ‘Special One’ makes him angry and added that Mourinho has given the capital-based club a bad image.
“Everything about Mourinho annoys me – he has given us an awful image.”
