The Argentinean striker has made it clear that he is past his troubles that plagued his relationship with Roberto Mancini and Manchester City as well and he is now focused on doing well for the Citizens in order to defend their
English Premier League crown in the new league season...
Carlos Tevez has revealed that he is now a changed man at Manchester City and past his previous habits and troubles that got him into a precarious situation with Roberto Mancini as well as his employers at large. Tevez almost parted
ways with City in the winter transfer window but his move to A.C Milan in Serie A fell through and the Argentinean was forced to reconcile with City and Roberto Mancini.
Tevez’s fractured relationship came into being after the striker refused to warm up and get ready for a substitution in Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich last season. The Citizens went onto
lose that match but Roberto Mancini took a strong stance against Tevez and refused to play him for the remainder of the season.
However Tevez did make a comeback into the Manchester City first team line up after Mancini changed his mind in the latter stages of the league season. The Argentinean played a large role in guiding City towards their first Premier
League title in over 44 years but now as the new season approaches, he is determined to prove himself once again.
Tevez said, "I'm returning feeling renewed. I'm really up for having a great season. I'm better now and only thinking about playing football. I feel useful and valued and that is fundamental for me”.
He added, “It's been a long time since I've scored a goal like that [against Chelsea], like the ones I used to score when I was at Boca, and this speaks of the confidence I have."
Manchester City will hope that Tevez is fit and ready to go as they will face a strong title charge from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, both the clubs which have added big names to their squad already in the summer
transfer window.
