Carlos Tevez and Fernando Torres in for ultimate swap deal

Manchester City’s manager, Roberto Mancini is looking to take one major risk, with an offer to swap Fernando Torres for Carlos Tevez in January.
Some might find this deal to be a rather bizarre one, considering Tevez has currently been in top form over the last couple of weeks whereas Torres has been performing like a mere shadow of his former self. Nonetheless Mancini
has allowed Tevez to travel back to Argentina to meet up with his daughter, as an act of good will.
This is however not going to stop the manager from going into an ultimate bidding war to land the services of Fernando Torres. The Italian manager is reported to be willing to spend as much as fifty million pounds for the Spanish
World Cup winner. City however need to be in pole position when the Christmas break approaches if they hope to land Torres.
Liverpool who are currently suffering one of the worst crisis in the club’s recent history, know for a fact that if Torres does leave the club, then it will signal the end for the team and all the fans hopes with the board and
its ability to steer the club forward.
Mancini however has the money that can make the Liverpool board think otherwise and he also currently has the power to offer Torres a contract that will be a major step up from the one he currently has at Liverpool.
The manager is currently standing strong on the opinion that the Spanish international can provide the services to the club that will see them go on to win almost everything. However the dark side of the deal includes the departure
of Carlos Tevez to Anfield.
However this deal is a little farfetched to believe at the moment, for the reason that firstly Tevez has been far more influential than Fernando Torres in recent history and with the current owners of Liverpool departing, there
are bound to be countless new signings at the club which is something that Torres had wished for in the past.
However in recent history, there have been speculations of a major bust up between Roberto Mancini and Carlos Tevez. The two of them have been reported to have gotten into more than one argument in the past and hence this is why
this deal is more than likely to happen, only not with Liverpool and without Torres being a part of the deal. On the other hand Torres has said in the past that if he does leave Liverpool, he will choose to go back to Spain instead of playing for another team
in England.
If we take a step back and think about the deal, it seems like one that is nothing more than a mere speculation. No one in their right mind, would ever give up a player on the top of his form, for a player who is constantly being
injured and struggling to find his form. In other words, this deal is more than likely to never really happen, unless obviously the bizarre happens once again and the footballing world is shocked by a move that was never meant to be.
