Tevez has been out of action for over five months and this is mostly due to the fact that the striker refused to come on off the bench in a Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
However, the Argentine striker has now revealed that perhaps things aren’t what they seem and that his side of the story should also be looked into, before blaming everything on him.
The striker started off by stating that he saw Mancini bring on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nigel-de-Jong-c27882 for Edin Dzeko, despite the team being down by two goals to nil.
As a result, he felt the manager wanted to control the extent of the damage, so the striker went on to sit back down.
Soon after, Dzeko and Mancini started squaring off at each other and this caused tempers to fly on the City bench.
The Argentine had already warmed up for ten minutes, but then went on to sit back down behind Mancini and Dzeko, who were still arguing.
He then admits that perhaps the manager didn’t see him, but he turned around and asked him to go and warm up again.
The forward then insisted that all he said was that he wouldn’t go and warm up again, but didn’t say anything about not playing in the game.
Nonetheless, Tevez insists that he remained calm, despite being treated like a dog and having Mancini abuse him repeatedly.
The City player is set to return back to the Etihad Stadium in the near future and is more than likely to represent the team in the coming week or so.
Tevez is quoted to have said: "Yes, [I'm heading back this week]. It's a decision I've taken to win back the supporters who've turned against me since what happened against Bayern [Munich].”
"I believe they were misinformed, they weren't told the facts. So that when they were told that I didn't want to play they naturally turned against me.”
"I gave everything to that club, and what I love above all is to play football."
