The Italian Champions have been linked with the Manchester City striker for the past few months but both parties have failed to agree a deal. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Paris Saint Germain also entered the race to sign Tevez, but after the
player’s snub, both of them have backed-off.
City have clearly told Milan that their current proposal of singing the Argentine striker will not be accepted. However, the Rossoneri are still hopeful of signing the former Manchester United star and are willing to wait until
the end of the January transfer window. On the other hand, the Champions have a pre-contract agreement with Catania for Maxi Lopez, if they miss out on the signing of Tevez.
Galliani has confirmed that one of Tevez or Lopez will definitely arrive at San Siro, and they will confirm their decision on Friday.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani insisted,
“Will Maxi Lopez join as well? Who knows? I will just confirm that if he doesn’t arrive, then we will sign Tevez, but they are two alternative options. We will make a definitive decision on Friday.”
On the other hand, Lopez’ agent, Andrea D’Amico, has also revealed that his client will know about his Milan future on Friday. He insisted that his client is relaxed and he is concentrating on his training at Catania.
“There is nothing new to report, but we will know by tomorrow evening one way or another. Are we optimistic? The lad is relaxed and training. We’ll have to wait and see.” added the agent
The Rossazzurri President, Antonino Pulvirenti, has revealed that Lopez is already an A.C Milan player, as they have agreed terms with the Rossoneri.
“As far as we are concerned, Maxi Lopez is already a Milan player.” Insisted the President
Lopez was also linked with a host of clubs, and Catania recently rejected his bid from Premier League side, Fulham.
