Manchester City’s rebel striker, Carlos Tevez is looking to take the fight to the club, after he was fined for his actions over the last couple of months.
Tevez is looking to appeal against City, after the striker is said to have been fined a massive fee of £9.3m.
The player has been found guilty on the basis of gross misconduct, ever since he decided to fly back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841, without the permission of the officials at the club.
There was further damage in the relationship between the player and the club, after the player went on to delay his appeal against them from the 22nd of December to the 7th of January.
However, the player’s appeal was dismissed by the City’s officials and now the player will approach the Premier League directly by the 30th of January.
A statement released by City, which highlights the players fines and his actions is quoted to have said: “The club can confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez was found guilty by a disciplinary hearing on Dec 21 of gross misconduct for serious breaches of contract and
was fined six weeks’ wages. Carlos elected to appeal the finding, which was dismissed by an appeal panel made up of club directors. He has until Jan 30 to make a final appeal to the Premier League.”
The player’s problems at the club started when he refused to come off the bench and participate in a Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
Since then, Tevez’s life at City has been pretty downhill. He seems to keep creating more problems for himself, instead of trying to fix the ones that he has already created.
Many believe that the striker is just doing this, so that City don’t object to him moving away from the club. However, the way things are shaping up, City might just look to take the fight to Tevez and perhaps even keep a hold of him, just to teach him a
valuable lesson.
Nonetheless, it is still unclear as to how the Premier League officials will react to Tevez and his appeals and it is a wait till the end of the month to see whether they rule in favour of, or against the player.
