Carlos Tevez saga: Roberto Mancini in further trouble

First Robinho, then Emmanuel Adebayor and now Carlos Tevez, it seems that Roberto Mancini would be left with no striking options for the other half of the season. Adebayor is already on the top transfers list of Mancini and now Tevez has submitted a request
to the chief executive of the club for a transfer in January.
Talking to the media Tevez said that his relationship with certain individuals and executives had deteriorated and it resulted in his change of mind. Tevez did not name any specific persons but he praised Mancini and the owners for their help and support.
The Argentinean striker also thanked the fans of Manchester City and praised their passion and zeal that they had showed over the years. Tevez said that he remained committed to the cause of Manchester City but the time had come for him to secure a move away
from Eastland. According to the striker, he had already made up his mind to leave in next summer but certain events have resulted in hastiness of his decision.
The report from Manchester City officials says that the transfer request has been denied by them. The statement on the club website clearly admitted the fact that the transfer request had been submitted but it was swiftly rejected. The club officials also
showed their disappointment regarding the whole episode but they showed their support and commitment to the Argentine striker.
Also, in another statement after announcing his request for transfer, Tevez has pointed out some likely destinations for a possible move. The player has definitely given edge to Barcelona for his future destination especially because some of his counterparts,
Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Diego Milito play for the club. However, Tevez said that an offer from Real Madrid or some Italian club would be welcomed as well.
The news of Carlos Tevez wanting a move away from Manchester City is not a new one. Tevez has already been linked to a move outside England because of his family issues. Now, the events from the previous few weeks and brawl with the manager on the issue
of substitution has refuelled the fire. Tevez now wants to leave the club as soon as possible because he is feeling unsettled and unhappy at Manchester City.
There is no doubt that the loss of Carlos Tevez would be a grave one for Manchester City. City moved to the second place in the English Premier League table on Sunday, and they owe much of their success to the brilliance of Carlos Tevez, who has showed flair
on a number of occasions. Already the striker has 10 goals and 4 assists in the league, being their top scorer for the current season. Tevez was responsible for many victories for Manchester City including the ones against Chelsea and Liverpool, scoring all
important goals for them. Therefore, when he leaves the club he would definitely be missed for a long time.
Already Roberto Mancini is thin on options regarding the strikers in his team. Emmanuel Adebayor is on the transfer list along with Roque Santa Cruz. The Brazilian striker Jo has not tasted much of football this season and he cannot be trusted with an important
job like that of Tevez. Mario Balotelli is going great at the moment, but he has issues regarding his bad temper. The Italian youngster has been involved in some foolish incidents, on and off the pitch, which makes him untrustworthy as well. Hence, in the
absence of Tevez, Mancini would face many problems in the league.
Juventus or Inter Milan could be the likely destinations of the striker, but no club has shown its interest yet. Barcelona, Real Madrid or AC Milan already have their complete team, as far as their strike force is concerned, so these clubs would not be interested
in a deal. However, Juventus and Inter have shown interest in signing new players and they can get Tevez a fair deal and get him out of City. There is no doubt about his talents and he could definitely be a great signing for any club in Europe.
