Manchester City striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez is set to reassess his future, after the player failed to secure a move away from the club in January.
Heading into the January transfer window, Tevez was being hailed as one of the favourites to transfer out of his club.
The striker had his fair share of problems with the team and it seemed like the only solution was for him to go elsewhere.
Despite a number of team’s approaching City for the player, no one could really agree to the team’s asking price over the Argentine and hence he is now going to remain a City player till the end of the season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is uncertain as to what the future holds for the player, but when talking about the forward, the manager suggested that perhaps he could remedy his situation at the club.
Mancini is quoted to have said: "Tevez is always a Manchester City player"
"I don't know what his condition is at this moment."
However, despite the player set to remain at City, it seems like he is going to be appealing against the club and the fine that they imposed on him, during the days that he was missing in action.
A statement from the Premier League read: "The Premier League received correspondence from Carlos Tevez last night [Monday] giving notice of Mr Tevez's intention to appeal against a disciplinary sanction imposed on him by his club, Manchester City.”
From the looks of things, Tevez is caught up in a very weird state at the moment. The striker doesn’t want to be at City, the club don’t want him, but neither party has any choice at the moment.
City aren’t going to dissolve his contract and the player is more than likely not to retired.
As a result, it seems like Tevez might just work his way back into the team. However, in order for him to do so, he is going to have to issue an apology to the club, the fans and to his manager.
It is now a wait to see just what the Argentine striker decides to do with his future and whether he ends up doing something rather drastic or not.
