Argentine international and Manchester City captain, Carlos Tevez has gone on to reveal his desire to leave the Eastlands time and time again. The forward has stated that the wishes to be closer to his family and that is impossible for him to do, should he stay at the club.
As a result, Brazilian side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390, the plans fell apart. City just didn’t agree with the Brazilian team’s terms, as they wished to pay for the player in two instalments.
With the Brazilian transfer window now closed, the player seems to be destined to stay at the Eastlands, for at least another season.
The player is now looking for another way out of the team, but at the same time it seems like he will go ahead and honour his stay at City, for as long as he has to.
The player’s manager, Joorabchian, when talking about Tevez and his current situation is quoted to have said:
"He's neither disappointed nor happy. He's very calm. We waited to see how the deal would be structured and he tried to keep out of it in terms of insisting on anything. Now he'll go on holiday after the Copa America and see what happens.”

"There was a concrete offer on the table, and it was very close to being negotiated and agreed, but unfortunately it didn't go through. There's not really any speculation from our standpoint [on what happens next]. He's still a City player and he will respect that. We will keep it like that until there's something else concrete on the table."
City seem to have taken slight offence to the Tevez saga and have even gone on to look for replacements. At the moment the team are looking to bring in Tevez’s international team mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero into the club, in hopes that he would be able to replace Tevez at the club.
On the other hand, the team seem to be looking to strip the forward of his captaincy at the club. Considering he wants to leave the club, it just seems like the appropriate thing to do.
Nonetheless, if Tevez does stay, we can expect him to give a hundred and ten percent to the team, irrelevant of whether he is captain or not.
