Carlos Tevez’s advisor claims Manchester City striker was misinterpreted – Premier League Update
Manchester City striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez has been the subject of a lot of speculations in the past few days. The player has been reported to have refused to step onto the pitch during his sides match against Bayern Munich and these actions by the player, have
not been taken too lightly by the club.
However, the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian has come forth and admitted that his client, if anything was misinterpreted and a mountain has been made out of a molehill.
Following the game, Tevez was interviewed and asked about his decision to not participate in the game. He responded by claiming that he didn’t feel right to play in the game, but the very next morning, he came forth and claimed that his words had been misunderstood.
The player’s agent has now come to his aid and has taken to the press to reveal that at the end of the day, the problem that has occurred is due to the interpreter and nothing more.
“If you don’t have a very professional interpreter you have a problem,” said Joorabchian. “I speak Spanish and English and both of the questions were interpreted incorrectly and both the answers were interpreted incorrectly.”
"One of the biggest problems is that in a situation right after a game questions are asked and things are taken out of context.
“The main issue was what happened on the bench of Bayern Munich was one of confusion. We didn’t actually see what really happened on the bench.”
Despite these claims, the player’s post match words have been confirmed by a number of different agencies and so far, there is very little that the player can do to defend himself.
Tevez’s post game comments are translated to have said: “It’s just that I didn’t want to go in because I thought I was unwell. I wasn’t emotionally well, and I thought it better not to. I felt that it wasn’t suitable that I go on because my head wasn’t in
the right place.”
However, the very next day, Tevez claimed that he was not herd properly and that he had already warmed up and was ready to play, should he had been given the chance.
At the moment, Tevez is serving a two week suspension from City and the club are yet to decide his fate.
Many believe that Tevez is going to be shut out from the team and that they will let him leave in January for a much cheaper price.
Despite that fact, it is going to be another forty eight hour wait to hear from the club and see what they have in store for the player.
