remember him?anyway my quest is,i saw him do this move during a rugby game,he dropped the rugby ball onto his knee or thigh and nudged it behind the tackler then ran passed him and regathered the ball and was away for a try!!but the ref pinned him for dropping ball forward??what you guys think?personally i thought it was legal and a great move!!!Also YOU know how you can go for a quick throw in and throw it too yaself, well i was thinking is it legal too throw the ball high up in the air over say the oppositions fullbacks head and run pass him an catch the ball in the air and score a try?would be easier than kicking it pass him??would that be considered a forward pass even tho it was too yaself??dont know?

  1. Jeez,

    So many questions...

    Kick off the knee:

    It's not legal anymore.

It used to be but is a knock on now.

Not sure when it changed but it was about 7-8 years ago.

    Pass to yourself:

You could throw the ball over the fullback and carry on.

But I don't think you'd actually get away with it.

  2. i dont know that particular play. but heres a pass to oneself by brian o driscoll (yes cryin brian)
