Carly Booth looking forward to ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters
ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters has quite a reputation and many players are visibly excited about the event. One of them is Carly Booth, the golf sensation from Scotland.
There is a very good reason for this excitement. Ladies British Masters is one of the most talked about tournaments on LET and its venue makes it even more appealing to both players and fans.
Ladies British Masters will be played in one of the most prestigious golf courses in England. The course is fairly new and is operational since 1992. It has been the host of some of the top golf events in England.
Carly Booth has a great year so far. This tournament is a very good opportunity for her to bag a third LET title to her career stats. She has already won two LET events in this year.
The first win came at Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open presented by EventScotland where she scored 212 points.
Her next win was at Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open after a tough game in which she beat Anja Monke and Caroline Masson in a playoff.
In addition, she has posted two top-10 finishes this year. Her most recent top-10 finish was in the Ladies Irish Open, where she stood 7th with a score of 216.
Carly Booth has always wanted to play in England and this tournament is a great opportunity to fulfil that wish.
She said, “I love playing in the UK. We don’t have many tournaments in the UK throughout the year so it’s really nice to have this event. I have some family that will be there to watch which will be very nice for me”.
She has been playing well and her good form will be very important for a good finish in the Ladies British Masters. There has been some speculation about her injury in a charity football match.
However, Booth said that she is well on her way to recovery and a week’s rest is enough to put her in the proper spirit of the game.
She will need all the rest she can get, as she will face the top golf talent at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
