Carmelo Anthony, Boris Diaw, Al Horford: NBA's noticeable performances (Part 1)
Here is an overview of some of the noticeable performances given in the games that took place on Saturday, 26 March in the National Basketball Association.
New Jersey Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks
Morrow's team high 25
Anthony Morrow scored team high 25 points hitting 11 of 21 shooting from the field in 34 plus minutes of action in the loss. The player also grabbed three rebounds and a steal to add to the score board. The Nets guard notched 3 of 3 free throws that came
his way.
Sasha Vujacic
Sasha Vujacic pulled out 13 points and grabbed two rebounds while pinning a three-pointer and taking two steals off the opposition. The player finished with a 6 for 12 shooting from the field in 35 plus minutes.
Horford- Atlanta Hawks
Al Horford had a steamy game for the Hawks. The center forward clinched 23 points along with grabbing 12 rebounds in an action packed game. The player pinned 9 of 16 shots and also hit 5 of 6 free throws in more than 41 minutes.
Smith's excellent 22
Josh Smith added the fuel that Atlanta needed in the win. The forward scooped out 22 points along with four boards and two steals, hitting 8 of 12 shots that came his way.
Crawford- Hawks
Jamal Crawford had an excellent off the bench game. The rookie produced 18 points and team best six assists in 38 plus minutes on the floor. The player also hit 2 of 9 3-pointers, plus 2 of 2 free throws.
Excited about locking a playoff spot, the player was quoted as saying, "It feels really good. We knew we would be in, but it's always good to actually know for sure. We've been struggling a little bit, and we'll take any win we can get. Hopefully, this will
catapult us."
New York Knicks vs. Charlotte Bobcats
Anthony- Knicks
Carmelo Anthony did the best to save the Knicks from sliding down their sixth straight loss but even his 36 points could not add the spark that the team needed. Melo contributed game high 36 points and pinned three 3-pointers in 40 plus minutes. The player
went adding 7 of 8 free throws and finished on 13 of 25 shooting from the field.
Fields- off the bench
Landry Fields came off the bench to score 16 points pinning 9 of 12 free throws in 33 plus minutes of action.
Charlotte Bobcats
Eight Charlotte Bobcats scored in double digits to help lift the team against the New York Knicks. Boris Diaw led all the team with 20 points in a well-defensive game. The forward also grabbed eight rebounds and five dimes in 38 plus minutes.
Jackson- Bobcats
Stephen Jackson lit the game up for the Bobcats with his 19 points. The guard took care of defence very well and notched 4 of 9 three-pointers in marvelously played 29 plus minutes. He also grabbed seven rebounds and pulled out three assists for the team.
Augustin's 13
D.J. Augustin was depleted of just one assist, or the player would have had a double-double in the win. The Charlotte guard scooped out 13 points and dished out nine assists hitting 5 of 5 free throws in the win.
