  3. theres a storm in the gulf  but it wont affect you unless u are going to texas or texas / mexico. it'll be over in a day MAYBE 2.But there is another one that is coming in from the Atlantic and it'll probably  be a killer!! If you are gonig anywhere near Fla .after 6 days from now,,,,,,,, don't! It'll be in the gulf or at least the carribean within 5 - 6 days for sure.

  4. Go to Carnival's website.  They have posted itinerary changes and will continue to update over the next day or two.

Better to get it right from the "horses mouth".

  5. Well I have been on a cruise during a storm, and the cruise line takes great care of you...if the storm is headed for the port that you are leaving from, they would either choose a different port, or refund ALL OF YOUR MONEY, IF YOU HAVE OR DON'T HAVE INSURANCE...i speak from experience...now if you are on the ship heading for a port of call where the storm is, then they will probably give you some credit to spend onboard...also they will get you away from the storms, and take you somewhere else....just be aware that your cruise may be a little bit longer depending what happens....as i said, i experienced this exact thing, so if you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to send me a message... = ]

  6. Hopefully it will all be over by then. You are probably fine.

  7. 8AM Tuesdat 21 August it is projected to be at the Yucatan with winds of 74 to 95 mph.

    Call your cruise line immediately!

I know it is not much but Carnival will change  the ports to avoid the storm before so you will still have your cruise, in the end all the port have something to offer, it is one of the risk of planning the trip this time of year. my best advice is enjoy the ship and pray for the best before you sail.

  11. I was recently on a cruise in the Carribbean and for two days it stormed! The boat I was on was the Adventure of the Seas and I took Bonine. It works great for settling a sour stomach. Have fun and take the medicane plenty of time in advance. The Carnival cruise state relations attendent will aid you in upcoming weather forecasts as well.
