Carnival Cruise in October?!?!?

I am going on a cruise in October (carnival cruise) I was wondering if anyone knew the average price of an alcoholic Beverage? And if you can buy bottles of alcohol in the gift shops and take them back to your rooms?

$4 to $6.50 per drink/ they also add 15% gratuity for each drink(which goes to the servers)

the alcohol you would buy would be given to you at the end of your cruise.

approx 5 dollars per drink plus 15 percent gratuity is automatically calculated into the price.  depends what you order really.  

they do not let you buy alcohol in the gift store to take to your room / they will deliver it to your room the last day of sailing.

you can usually buy a bottle / six pack and get it on board in the ports.  they are supposed to confiscate it and give it back to you last day of sailing but a lot of it goes through the lines and guys to look other way.  

carnival is said to be the tighest of security with regard to alcohol.   many people bring on a six pack in luggage / or bring vodka on board in water bottles packed.

The average price of an alcoholic drink ranges between $3.50 to $6.50 depending on what you order. Carnival also adds a 15% tip on top of the price automatically for the server. Yes, you can buy alcohol in the gift shops but you are not allowed to take it back to the room. You get the liquor on the last day before you leave the ship. Have a great time! It will be a blast!
