I was wondering if Carnival Cruise lines (Ship: Carnival Inspiration) has a sports bar of some type to be able to watch sporting events (Vs. Network)? How does internet access work on cruises? Are there public computer lounges? If so is internet access free?

Thanks

  1. The ships all have sports bars.  Whether or not they will be showing any particular game/sport is iffy, but for playoff or championship games it's more likely than regular-season games.  For example, they would have the World Series or Superbowl games.

Ships also have internet access, but it is definitely not free.  It is very expensive and usually very slow.  If you want to keep in touch by e-mail, etc., look for internet cafes in port - they're always there and close to the pier.

  2. Yes, Carnival carries sports. I watched NBA playoffs and world cup soccer on Elation, on a nice, big, 60 inch plasma at one of the bars.

The internet cafe costs. I don't know how much. It was a swipe your card affair.

  3. Yes, there are places they play sports games on TV. Also, yes there is an internet cafe type thing but it is not free. Have fun I love sailing with Carnival!!
