Carnival Spirit Cruise Question............?

Hi Everyone! I am going on the Carnival Spirit Ship, and I am wondering if it really good. There is also something called "Circle C", and I am wondering how that is too, for 12 year olds. Also, I am wondering if all the features on all the carnival ships are the same. Like do all of the ships have this water slide feature: http://www.carnival.com/onboardexp_home.aspx

(The water slide thing looks really fun!!) Anyway, any information that you have about the Carnival ships(specifically The Carnival Spirit) that would be great. Thanks for your information!

Hello, I have sailed on the Carnival Spirit twice.  My family and I love it.  Circle C is the older version of camp carnival.  However, depending on the amount of kids signed up, they sometimes put the Circle C kids with the Camp Carnival.  My eleven year old daughter loved camp carnival.  

Upon returning from our cruise (we just went to hawaii 4/20-5/2) My husband and I were planning the next one and we also wanted to book on the "Spirit" again.  This time we are going to try the Alaska cruise as it came highly recommended by the crew.

Not all Carnival ships are the same, but ships in the same class generally are. Carnival Spirit is a great ship and has:

- Water slide (they all have slides, btw)

- Video arcade

- Steak restaurant

- Sushi bar

- Big fitness center and day spa

- Covered swimming pool (the roof retracts so it's indoor during cool weather, and open when it's warm)

Hey!

I've been on a few Carnival cruises, so I may be able to help.

The Carnival Spirit is beautiful.  Yes, it has a waterslide!  It also has a gorgeous two-floor dance club.  I almost took it to Alaska, so I've done a lot of research on it.  You will enjoy your time on this ship!  It's not too big, but not too small, and there are a lot of great public rooms.  They also have the sushi bar, which is a huge plus if you like sushi.  It is included with your price, by the way!

Carnival ships are great!  I think that they are the most fun out of all cruise ships, but that's just my opinion.  There are always activities to do and you will never get bored!

Also, I was in Circle C for three of the Carnival cruises that I have taken and I LOVED IT!  There are so many activities.  We sang karaoke, had ice cream socials, scavenger hunt, pizza parties, and just messed around.  There were Guitar Hero tournies and other video games to play as well.  The best part was hanging out with the other teenagers my age.  Oh yeah, and there was a dance in the dance club every night.  They play good music (you can request pretty much anything you want!) and we just hung out and danced for a while.  It was great.  They have dance parties for the older teens (my age) but I still miss the Circle C dance parties.

All Carnival ships have a spa.  I have never taken advantage of the spa but I've heard that it's great!

There is 24-hour pizza and ice cream available on the Lido deck. I love that part.

They also have midnight buffet if you're hungry at that time!
