  1. When you pay for your trip the only thing it does NOT include is alcohol, spa services, tip for your waiter and maid, and sometimes they have a special resturant on the ship where you would pay separatly...depending on the ship. The buffets and the the formal dinner nights are all included. Your taxes and port fees should also be included.  If you go into the night clubs, you dont have to pay to get in either.

If you want to go in the casino, you use your own money as well. If you do any shore excursions, you pay for that separatly also. Depending on the destination it takes place will determine how much you pay and for how long.

  2. Your fare includes meals in the dining room, buffet, and room service.  Entertainment at the shows.

What you will pay for in addition to your fare...

    - tips.  $10 per day per guest.

    - bar drinks. $4-12 per drink plus 15% gratuity

    - soda.  $1.75 per can or $35-45 for a unlimited by the glass card.

    - bottle water. $3.50 per bottle.

    - spa services. $50-200 per service.

    - shore excursions. $50-200 per excursion.

    - photos. $22-25 per sheet.

    - bingo. $5-10 per card.

    - casino - $$$

    - internet service - per minute

    - temp tatoos - $7-12 each

    - shopping on board $$$

    - taxis while in port. $5-10 per trip

    - shopping while in port. Take plenty of $1, 5 and 10 in US dollars.

    - parking at the port

    - tips for luggage porters.

With the exception of the tips for the Carnival staff, all of the above is optional...you can spend as much or as little as you want.

If you are on a budget, I suggest using a cash account for your Sign & Sail account. The pursers office will send you a note when you reach your limit.  You can add more money or stop spending before you go shall we say "overboard".

  3. This is not a weird question. You  need to know what you are paying for. Yes all you can eat food is included with the price of the cruise. This also includes water, tea and juice. The nightly entertainment is included along with many of the daily activities. You will have to pay extra for the casino, bingo, shore excursions and the gift ships on-board. If you are a soda drinker I would suggest you get the "soda card" when you arrive as it will save you money by the end of the cruise.

  4. Paying for the trip does include the food, but not ALL of the activities. 95% of the activities are free, but there are some things like casino tournaments that will cost money. Also, some things like photographs and beverages will cost money as well.

  5. No not the Spa Treatments. That is a seperate cost. Alcohol and sodas are charged to you as well.

  6. yes

  7. it pays for the food but not the massage

you will need to pay for the following when you get on the ship, a sail and sign account will be set up:

    gratuity/tip $10 a day

    spa/ massage

    bars

    casino

    supper club

    coffee shop

    gift shops

    excursions

all place can be entered with out fees

the dinning room is free as well as all buffets and espresso and cappuccino are free in dinning room

  8. The food is usally included but not at some of the theme restaurants. Also drinks like soda pop and alchol is expensive and not included. More and more things are extra on cruises now a days.
