Carnival triumph problems?

so i just took a cruise but it didnt go so well. there was a storm so we missed out flight and drove 4 hours to another airport, then we flew to peurto rico to catch the ship, then there was a medical emergancy so they didnt come, then we flew to st. thomas & caught it, but we missed 4 days. did something like this happend to you. i really wanna here other peoples stories lol.

This is why you buy travel insurance.  Always a good idea.

It's also why you always go to your departure port the day before.

no, I never had anything happen like that. I did, however, have a bartender tell me that they loose passengers at each and every port they stop. People don't make it back to the ship on time and the ship leaves without them.

You must have spent a fortune on airfare.

I work at Carnival Cruise lines, and I suggest to always try to go to the departure port at least a day before, that way, if there are any cancellations, or anything in that same area of problems, you have enough time to work it out. Cause once you get there late, that is it, even with bookings and such, they need to depart at a certain time.
