Carnvial triumph. april 26th 2008. is it a nice ship? :?

anyone have anything to say about the ship? good and bad things..

p.s is anyone going on it the same date as i am?

I have never sailed on the Triumph, but have sailed on her "sister" the Victory.  This was back in 2001, when she was brand-new and it was our first cruise, so we loved it.  However, lately the reviews from past passengers for both the Triumph and the Victory have been very mixed.  Carnival in general has gone somewhat downhill in recent years, in my opinion.   [I've been on several Carnival cruises since the first.]

Yes, it is a very nice ship. The food and atmosphere is great, as well as everything else. You are going to have a great time, cruises are the best!!!

I was on the Triumph last June. The boat is quite nice and the food and service was excellent. The overall operation of the ship was quite disorganized. You will be visiting Half moon Cay which will require the ship to anchor and you to ferry to shore. We went to the Caymans which had exactly the same situation and they were quite ill prepared to handle the volume of people trying to get off the ship. When I was on the Conquest they had no such problem as it was much more organized. Apparently most of this is handled by the cruise director and the one we had was quite bad. Fortunately for you by the time you go he should have swapped ships so you will have a new director. Having cruised several times in the past my expectations were much higher than that of my children who, as first time cruisers, said they had the time of their lives, so I am sure you will have a great time.

I havent been on the ship or on a cruise with Carnival but I felt bad that no one has answered your question. -=)
