Do you agree with why she was rapped? Why do these celebs do it lets face it the likes of her are multi millionaires with no money worries, or is the huge pay packet they will recieve for pretending to understand how a person who is going to lose their home feels to much to ignore?

I remember 30 years ago celebrities were used to promote good campaigns like Keep Britain Tidy, Green Cross Code etc.  Public information broadcasts.

Now they only promote themselves for their own gain.

Yes i think its right for her to get rapped, celebs earn so much money from endorsing products they have to accept that it is often the vulnerable who will believe there advertisements and end up sadly in this instance loosing their homes. If the celebs don't really endorse the product then they should not do the advert for money.

But to answer your question yes I agree that she should have been rapped however it's a bit late now what with a decade of easy credit drying up and these adverts have been going years.

On a personal level she should be thoroughly ashamed of herself.

in a way i agree its not a good idea for her to be doing this, but many celebs promote products that they don't use, and after have openly admitted it. Some even when the ads were still showing.

I went off her a few years ago. She was supposed to come across as a very intelligent, understanding woman. Someone who a lot of people would look up to and take advice from. For her to appear in these adverts, that don't really help people but get them into more debt, is awful.

What amazes me is not that individuals are upset that a high profile celeb is pushing this product, but that the focus is not on the lending practices of this company itself.  Holy c**p, if these are predatory practices then change the laws so that these business are illegal.

I think she should be told off for it, as I've always thought it's a bad idea her advertising loans and debts.  It's because she's good with numbers and perceived as very intelligent, so people think that it must be a good company to go with if she's advertising it.

It wouldn't be so bad if she was advertising beauty products, but her TV persona makes people think that she must know that the loan company is a good one otherwise she wouldn't promote it.

They do it for greed I think, and to keep up their profile. Although they're millionaires, they spend A LOT and don't actually end up with a lot in savings. Eg they hire beauticians, limos, expensive dresses etc in order to keep up with the rest of the celebs.
