Caroline Marin topples Beatriz Corrales to claim Women’s Singles title at Finnish Open 2013
Spain’s Carolina Marin proved her supremacy in the arena as she claimed Women’s Singles title after defeating her lower ranked country-mate Beatriz Corrales in the final battle of Finnish Open 2013 that ended on Sunday, April 7, in Finland.
The incredible Marin, who was the top seed in Women’s Singles main round of the tournament, showed her staggering skills on court and she did not find any trouble from the fifth seeded Beatriz in just 32 minutes.
Top seeded Marin was in complete control of rallies as she played attacking and positive badminton and remained successful in finishing up the battle in straight games with a spectacular 21-10 and 21-15 score on the board.
