Caroline Rominger to tee off with Jenni Kuosa and Julie Maisongrosse
The Ladies Irish Open is just around the corner and the entry list of the event is a mishmash of most recognized players in the world and relative new comers.
Three names that have the experts interested are Caroline Rominger, Jenni Kuosa and Julie Maisongrosse. These three players have turned professional recently and have another thing in common. None of them has ever won a title.
So why are the experts so interested in the players who have yet to win a title? The answer lies in the fact that one or more of these players could post a great score and could wind up on the top-20 list.
Caroline Rominger belongs to Switzerland and turned professional in 2009. She started off 2012 by missing the cut in the Lalla Meryem Cup. This setback did not deter Rominger and she went on to finish the next event, Turkish Airlines Ladies Open, in the
62nd place.
Her most recent performance was in South African Women's Open, where she ended up in the 56th position with a final score of 235. Her best finish this year was a 7th place in the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open.
Jenni Kuosa is a talented golfer from Finland who went pro in 2003. She started the year with a 75th place in the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open. This was her worst performance of the year and from this point onwards, she has stayed around the 40th
place in all the events so far.
She got the 41st position in Deloitte Ladies Open, 42nd place in Allianz Ladies Slovak Open, 45th place in Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open and 41st place in Raiffeisenbank Prague Golf Masters. Surprisingly, she
improved this record with a 40th place in the recent South African Women's Open.
Julie Maisongrosse is a French player who turned pro in 2010. She has an uneven record that indicates that she has great golf skills but needs more international golf experience.
Her best performance came in Deloitte Ladies Open, where she secured the 41st position. Her worst standing so far was a 116th place in Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open.
All these players have shown excellent golf skills in various events this year. Experts hope to see them finish the Irish Ladies Open with a good score.
