  1. soil the stains completely with simple green and then with a clean white towel in a circular motion rub out the stains,

i hope this works for you,

    good luck :)

  2. I would rent a Bissell Steam cleaner for carpets and upholstery, use some eco friendly rug shampoo and clean it yourself.

I do not know if the local grocery supermarket rents them where you live but if not try a tool rental store and you will find one there perhaps.

This cleaner does a very good job.

Tea stains once they are dried are almost impossible to remove.

    Good luck

  3. Buy a carpet cleaner. Worth the investment. If not carpet sprays do not work as the dirty water is just spread not lifted out the carpet. Go and rent a rug doctor. They really do work.

  4. ~~If you can dedicate some time to this it would be much easier to rent a Rug Doctor from Home Depot. Easy to use with professional results. Get the cleaner for it too. For the largest bottle of cleaner it was $10 and for 24 hours it cost $25 for the machine. It looked as if we had installed new carpet it was so clean and fluffy again.~~

  5. Depends on the size.  The Rug Doctor machines you can hire from big DIY stores do a pretty fair job, cost about 25 quid to hire.

  6. For 1 room I usually charge between $50 - $75

Shop around, things are slow. I'm sure you can get a good deal.

  7. Yea, Have a more sensible colour carpet that does not show muck so easily, multi colour is a good idea

  8. You can rent a carpet cleaner for around $30. You can also try Resolve, but I would say your best bet would be the carpet cleaner. Also, after you clean them go to Wal-Mart and get some scotch guard. This will help protect the carpet for later. Hope this helps.

  9. After you get the carpet cleaned, and if you or someone spills something, don't try to wipe it up.  Get a box of baking soda, sprinkle a lot of it on the spill, and gently press it into the liquid.  Let it set until its completely dry, and then vacuum it up.  The baking soda will absorb any liquid.  I spilled an entire glass of iced tea and used this technique on a cream carpet I had in my other house and it worked beautifully!  Not a bad fix for a 49 cent box of baking soda!!!

  10. i would go and buy lamanit flooring then you wouldnt have to wear about the carpet cleaning it is much better and you can buy it from all diy shops like b&q its quite cheap as well

  11. Capet cleaning is quite cheap, but the cheapest wat is to get your capet outside and spray water all over it. Put any cleaning substance on it an now water again. Let it dry outside forl like 30 min. then vacume it! Hope it works for you, I know it works for me!
