  1. Try Dawn Soap or Oxyclean

  2. the oxy products are really good. i made the mistake of buying a cream carpet for my room. i spilled everything you can think of on it, red wine aswell. you can buy foams aswell that are really good. i would put on the powder form of oxy magic mixed with some water and scrub like you've never scrubbed before lol. leave it to dry and then spray foam stain remover over it and leave to dry. then hoover over it. you can get really good stain removers out of pound shops aswell. sometimes they are better than ones you get out of supermarkets. good luck

  3. Two possibilities that work incredibly well:

    1) use white wine, keep spunging it up with a towel til it's not wet anymore.

    2) white wine vinegar (or just plain white vinegar) does an amazing job.

#2 is more efficient but make sure to soak it all up or you'll have a vinegar smell left.

    GL!

  4. Vanish do a spray that you leave on for about 10 mins, then brush in. When it dries you hoover it off and realise how dirty the rest of the carpet is.

  5. OXY CLEAN !!!! it really works  if it is a light carpet scrubbing bubbles works too.

  6. white wine !!

  7. Use that laundry stuff - the stain remover that you put in before putting your clothes in the wash.  Put the stain remover directly over your carpet stain.  Let it sit for like 10 minutes.  Get a bucket of warm water and a scrub/sponge.  Get down on your knees and scrub using strength from both arms.  Repeat.  Then clean off the stain remover with water so that your carpet doesn't smell like stain remover.

  8. Oxyclean really does work.
