Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has claimed that the Reds can finish in the top four at the end of the upcoming campaign. He insisted that there will be three teams that will be fighting for the final place in the UEFA Champions League. He named
Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal among those four sides and is looking forward to starting life as a Sky Sports pundit.
The Reds finished the previous season in a disappointing seventh place last season and the side will be looking to improve on that standing.
Carragher stated that there will be fierce competition between these three sides and admitted that Manchester United, Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 will be fighting for the English Premier League title.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international added that Liverpool will have to improve a great deal and admitted that consistency is the key to success. He is confident that the Reds will be a different side next season and is looking forward to the upcoming campaign.
“I think Liverpool and Tottenham will be vying with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to get that fourth place. no reason why Liverpool or Tottenham can't get in that space because it's so tight between those teams,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Carragher stated that he still loves Liverpool but insisted that he cannot be biased with his job.  The former player is keen on giving his best to the job as a pundit and is happy with the decision he has made after retiring from professional
football at the end of last season.
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 to do and I'll try and do it the best that I can,” he concluded.
