Carribean islands?

Question

my family wants to go to the carribean this summer and i'm going to be 18 and i was wondering what island we should go to...

i hear different things but i hear that st. lucia, st. thomas are the best, but idk.

i want a place with gorgeous turquoise watersss, mabye night clubs and can i drink posssibly, haha

Go St.Maarten/St.Martin or Dominican Republic, Punta Cana

do some research.

Both places has that one is cheaper than the other(Punta Cana all inclusive Beach resort and casino).

Without a doubt my answer is Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos islands.  It's just below the Bahamas and is only an hour and a half plane ride from Miami.  It has gorgeous white sand beaches, crystal clear warm turquoise water, lots of night clubs and touristy daytime activities.  The island is small so the local guys there (who are from all over the world like England, Scotland, Canada, US, Hungary, South America etc) are very friendly to new faces!  The drinking age there when I lived there was practically non-existant.  There are major resorts there like Beaches, Allegro and Club Med.  If you could stay anywhere there, I would pick a hotel in the Grace Bay area.  It's BEAUTIFUL.  The snorkelling there is also ranked (last I heard) in the top 10 places in the world.  Good luck with your search!  Enjoy your vacation!

I would say that Jamaica is the best island in the Carribean...I have been there 4 times....the last time being this last summer...! It is absolutely gorgeous there...I love it!!! And yes you can drink there....drinking age is 18!
