Liverpool’s 35 million pound striker, Andy Carroll was happy over his performance in the closing stages of the season, despite failing to get on the score sheet on Tuesday in his side’s 4-1 against the Blues on Anfield.
The English International was the most notable performer for the Reds in the FA Cup final on Saturday, in which he scored his side’s lone goal in a 2-1 defeat, after coming on as a substitute in the second half. He also came millimetres close of grabbing

And even though he was unable to score a goal on Tuesday, the 23-year old appeared to be in sublime form, as he created numerous opportunities for his team-mates during the course of the game.
While talking to reporters after the match, he said: “I’ve been through a lot, I think, and coming out at the end of it with a few good performances has been great for me.”

He continued, “I thought I was a little bit unlucky but we’re happy with the win. We had four different goal scorers so we’re delighted with that.”
The win was Liverpool’s 6th at home and the striker felt that his side have remained a victim of bad fortune throughout the season.
“I think we’ve played quite well throughout the season and just haven’t got the results. But we need to put that right and just keep playing the way that we know we can, because we’ve got some brilliant players.”
He also claimed that a win in their last home game of the season served as a morale booster for the players, and a strong finish can set a positive tone for them going into the next season.
Liverpool will play their final game against Swansea City on Sunday at the Liberty Stadium, in a bid to finish ahead of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 at the seventh place.
