England and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 striker, Andy Carroll has admitted that he is looking forward to playing alongside Wayne Rooney.
So far, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Montenegro-c2959 last year and had to wait until Friday for his suspension to come to an end.
Until now, Carroll and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-Welbeck-c10233 had been representing the national team upfront, but with Rooney back in the mix, Roy Hodgson might be forced to switch things around.
Welbeck and Rooney have played most of the previous season together, making the duo one of the first choices that Hodgson would consider.
However, with Carroll also having performed well in his last few games for England, the manager might just end up getting caught in a predicament, as he gets confused over just what players to use up front.
When talking about his desire to play with Rooney and just how he feels about the United forward, Carroll is quoted to have said:  “'I think I put myself about in the game against Sweden. Now I've just got to do that in training and try to keep my place.”
“Obviously, Wayne is a fantastic player with great qualities and we need him in the team. I would love to play alongside him - any player would - and I've never had that chance before.”
The striker then went on to talk about the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 won by three goals to two. Carroll scored the opening goal in the game via a Gerrard cross, as his header helped set the path for the rest of the team to follow.
“I thought it was a great win. We stuck together as a team. We got the three points, which is what mattered. We showed what we're about after we went behind and came back really well.”
It is now going to be a wait to see just who Hodgson chooses to play up front and whether Rooney would actually get to start in the game or not.
