Carry on and purse? help please?

ok,my dad is bothering me and he says i can bring a carry on and a purse on a plane.

i thought your purse is a carry on?

can someone help please!

Yes, you can bring a carry on (bag or small "cabin" luggage) and your purse. Check the size and weight of the carry on with the airline.

I have a messenger bag with lots of compartments and external pockets that I use both as carry on AND handbag when I travel by plane. Planes tend to be crowded and sometimes your carry on ends stocked several rows away from your seat. But you keep your handbag always with you, and put it under the seat in front of you.

YES, women are allowed to have a purse AND a carry-on. Most women carry their purse in their lap. Also men can take a small briefcase or laptop bag with them AND also their carry-on

You can bring two pieces of carry on.  One would be your carry on suitcase, and you can bring one other "personal" carry on item, which could be a laptop, a briefcase, a purse, etc.  I have seen some airlines allow a woman to take the two pieces, plus a small purse.

of course you can. on the intercom at the airport they say, " you are allowed one carry-on, and one personal item such as a laptop or purse." so you can definently take both. but i would keep the purse small because i have taken a purse and a carry on before and if one is really big, it makes it really hard to get through security.

becuz you can put the purse below your feeet & the carry on goes in the storage on top of you seattt .

you absolutely can... in fact you could take two carry ons if you wanted (then I'd say no purse, unless a small one). I fly a ton, and you absolutely can do both.

You may bring two carry-ons. Technically, the second one is a purse.
