Can someone carry on luggage include a desktop computer CPU on any big jet? or that is not allowed?

I want my PC fixed when i travel to USA. These computer people hear don't know much about fixing pc's.

  1. not allowed AT ALL, is considered as hazardous and they Will not let you take it as carry-on you can always pack it really good and check it in as luggage but with the new baggage restrictions I'm not sure is worth it... good luck
